Sheffield Baptist Church COVID-19 UPDATE
We continue to pray daily for all Nova Scotians and everyone across Canada and around the World touched by this illness. Nova Scotians have done a great job "flattening the curve" but unfortunately outbreaks of the Novel Cornavirus, and the new variant strains, have now occurred in all 4 Atlantic Provinces; causing adjustments to Public Health Orders. Nova Scotia Health continues to provide important information to protect yourself and your family. Please visit their website at www.novascotia.ca/coronavirus/#alerts for the latest on this evolving public health crisis.
For over 170 years Sheffield Baptist Church, and it's forebearers, have rested confidently in the power and protection of our Lord and we remain committed to the work of the Gospel during these difficult days. We acknowledge there are many divergent opinions regarding the pandemic and frustration with the church's response to it. The leadership of this local body of believers will always seek the Lord's will and act with an abundance of caution, based on the best official information available.
We were glad to be able to resume Family Worship under strict protocols. We are also very happy to announce the return of our Wednesday Evening Prayer Meeting at 7 PM.
