Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. It’s an opportunity for us to share with you what Sheffield Baptist Church is all about.
My wife, Ellen and I, are excited to be part of what God is doing in Halifax and it's such an honour to minister to the wonderful people of Sheffield Baptist Church.

Lots happening @ SBC this Week

Sunday, September 8th we launched our new Children's Church. Focused on our children this worship and teaching time will include music, prayer and a message just for them.
Ladies Bible Study will gather Tuesdays, at 10AM. The fall study is from the Book of Galatians. To pick up your study guide please see Pat or Wanda soon.
Sheffield will be marking National Back to Church Sunday, September 15th at 11AM. Together with churches across NA and the UK we invite old and new friends alike to join us in worship.
Beginning Sunday, September 15th we're launching our new Adult Sunday School class, using Bible Basics for New Believers we'll be learning the tenets of a bible based life. All are Welcome.
Our popular Moms & Tots program
resumes on Wednesday, September 18th
between 9:30 & 11AM . Parents, Nannies,
etc are invited to bring your little ones
aged 0-3 yrs for a time of fun, games and
snacks.
Men's Saturday Bible Study will resume Saturday, September 21st at 10AM. All men are invited and first Saturday of each we'll meet at 9:30AM to enjoy a hot breakfast. Invite a friend today.
Many people in and outside our church family are in need of prayer and anointing. SBC will hold a Church Wide Prayer Night Sunday, September 29th at 7PM. If you have a prayer request or are seeking anointing by the elders, for illness, please speak with Pastor.
